The parties to this Agreement are the student participating in an iD Tech program at Stanford University (Participant), the parent or guardian of the Participant if the Participant is under the age of 18 (collectively and individually referred to collectively as the “Participant”) and the Board of Trustees of Leland Stanford Junior University, its officers, directors, professors, agents, agents, volunteers, students, and staff (collectively, “Stanford”) for iD Tech programs held at Stanford. University (“Event”) (“Stanford” and “Event” are collectively referred to herein as the “Indemnified Parties”). By allowing your child to participate in our programs and/or use our Services, you expressly authorize us to request demographic information such as age, gender, and general geographic location (we do not ask for an address, email address, or phone number) and to provide your child. You also authorize us to ask your child to provide feedback about the program in which they participate and to share any information provided by your student in aggregate form with our curriculum and social impact partners. We will not provide the information provided by your child individually. IX. Forums and chats We may offer forums and chat rooms. Please note that anyone can read posts in a forum or chat room. In addition, any information posted in a forum or chat room may contain personal information that is disclosed and available to all users of that forum or chat room and is therefore no longer private. We cannot guarantee the security of information that a user discloses or communicates online in public areas such as forums and chat rooms.
Those who do so do so at their own peril. We reserve the right to monitor the content of forums and chat rooms. If age-inappropriate content or potentially identifiable information is seen, it may be removed or edited by us for security, privacy, and/or legal reasons. We will not post from forums or chat rooms anywhere on the Web.X. Links and Third Parties At our discretion, we may include or offer third-party websites, products and services on the Sites and iD Services. These third-party websites, products and services have separate and independent privacy policies. You should review the respective privacy policies of these third parties. We assume no responsibility for the content and activities of linked websites, products or services. These websites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the content available on other websites. These links do not imply endorsement of any material by us and we expressly disclaim any liability in relation to your access to such websites.
Access to other websites linked from iD Sites & Services is at your own risk. Online Programs: When you shop or participate in an online program, you also agree, on behalf of yourself and your student, to be bound by the additional terms and conditions found HERE. I understand that this document is drafted as thoroughly and comprehensively as the State of California legally permits. I agree that if any part is held to be invalid or unenforceable, I will continue to be bound by the remaining terms. Program staff conduct room inspections to determine damage to rooms. Any damage caused to rooms or public areas will be charged to the program. The program may decide to pass on the costs of damages to the student. This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who uses iD Tech/internalDrive, Inc.`s websites, services, and products.
