Ross Park Rules

CHECK-IN: Check-in anytime after 15:00 and no later than 23:00 If you or a member of your party is likely to be late, please inform the office to make the necessary arrangements. If you arrive after 23:00, you will have to stay in the parking lot until the office opens the next morning. THEFT and VANDALISM: Stealing and vandalizing anyone or anywhere in the park will result in police action and evacuation from the park. Protect your belongings. Ross Hill Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. CHECK-OUT: Check-out is 15:00, if your site is available, you can extend your stay until 19:00. An additional fee of $20.00 must be paid in advance. You are responsible for leaving the campsite in the condition in which you found it. Place garbage in designated containers in the park. CHECK-OUT for the rental of rustic cottages and rental units is 11:00.

FIREWORKS: The use of fireworks of any kind is prohibited on the campsite. This includes, but is not limited to, spark plugs. Anyone caught doing so is asked to leave. HOLIDAY RATES: Adults $10.00 per day or $20.00 per night per night. Children $7.00 per day or $10.00 per night per day. Visitor vehicles remain in designated parking lots and are not allowed to enter the park. VEHICLES: Maximum two (2) vehicles per location. Do not park on open lots. Hang tags must be visible from the rear-view mirrors. Additional vehicles must be parked in designated parking spaces. ATVs, motorized scooters, etc.; are not allowed in the park. No washing of cars, trucks or caravans.

Vehicle maintenance is prohibited on the campsite. The speed limit at the campsite is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced. Only visiting vehicles with displayed disability cards are allowed to enter the campsite. All other visitor vehicles must remain in designated parking spaces. DRUGS AND FIREARMS: The use of illegal drugs, firearms or firearms is not permitted. If any of these items are found, reported, unloaded or used, immediate police action will be taken and the park will be cleaned for everyone involved. BICYCLES: STATE LAW: All children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. No cycling after dark. Please park bicycles in the available pitches. Drivers must respect the 5 mph speed limit in the park. The staff reserves the right to remove a bicycle from any customer who does not respect the rules. Ross Hill Park`s policies and rules are designed for your safety and comfort, as well as to preserve the park`s environment and aesthetics.

BATHING AREA: All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to the bathing area. There are no lifeguards on duty. The bathing area will be open at the discretion of the management. In case of bad weather, the bathing area is closed. Please do not swim alone. There is no swimming after dark. Swimming in the river is prohibited. NEWS: Messages are posted on the bulletin board in front of the office.

In case of emergency, the office will try to contact you via the public address system. CAMPSITES: Only 1 family (2 adults and their single children under 21 years of age from the same household) is allowed per pitch. Only one motorhome or motorhome is allowed per pitch. Guests under the age of 21 are not allowed to camp without a parent or guardian. Please note that there are quiet periods between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. PETS: A RECENT COPY OF THE RABIES CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED UPON CHECK-IN. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per pitch. Dogs and cats should always be kept on a leash. Pets cannot be left alone on the campsite. Pet leashes should not be longer than the limit of your location.

Feces should be cleaned immediately. Pets are not allowed in the bathing area. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets. CHILDREN: Children (anyone under 18 years old) must be at their own campsite before 10pm. Children must not be left unattended on the campsite. Please inform the office if you wish to leave your children at the campsite with a friend. Parental supervision is required for children gathered in any place after dark. VISITORS: All guests, visitors and other family members must register at the office upon arrival. A visitor is any person who is not registered with the party of origin. Additional visitors are putting a strain on washrooms, activity programs and other facilities. Please inform your guests of the fees charged. If you want to pay your guests in advance, you can do it at the office.

Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Day visitors: $8.00 per adult 21 and older, $5.00 children 6 to 20 Children under 5 are free. Any visitor who registers after 8pm must pay the accommodation fee. The difference will be refunded if the customer leaves before the close of business. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets. SEASONAL SITES: Seasonal campers can download this PDF file to get more information about your seasonal contract. NO ENTRY: Please respect your space. Do not cut through other campers ™` sites. WASHROOMS: Children under eight (8) years of age must be accompanied to the washroom by an adult. Please help keep toilets and showers clean. Please use the garbage cans and personal hygiene containers provided.

Please report any problems or damage to the office. CANCELLATION POLICY: Payments/deposits on reservations cancelled within fourteen (14) days prior to scheduled arrival are non-refundable. Cancellations made before fourteen (14) days will incur a $10 administration fee. EARLY ARRIVALS: Check-in is possible from 09:00 at an additional cost of $20.00, subject to availability. CAMPFIRES: Never leave campfires unattended. Fire is permitted only in the fire rings provided for this purpose. Do not stack the rings of fire. The lights must be extinguished before your retreat for the evening. Please keep a bucket of water nearby.

Ross Hill Park management reserves the right at any time to terminate a client`s lease for reasons it deems objectionable and without refund. Ross Hill Park is not responsible for damage to personal property, accidents or injury to guests, including theft, fire or loss of valuables. GUESTS FOR THE NIGHT: $17.00 per adult per night, $7.00 per child per night. Children under 5 years old are free. Visitors who install additional camping equipment are considered campers, are no longer considered visitors and are subject to the same rates per night as our campsite guests.
